Other Explorers: Embracing the Facets of Self
I work with individuals experiencing pivotal moments of becoming—from young adults exploring their authenticity and shaping their future, to midlife men seeking clarity and connection, to adults in later life reflecting on meaning and the essence of self.
If you feel drawn to exploring the facets of self—those inner parts, archetypes, and layers that make up your unique identity—this work offers a welcoming space to integrate, transform, and embody your authenticity.

Early adulthood is an exciting yet overwhelming threshold—marked by self-discovery, big decisions, and the pressure of figuring out who you are and how you want to show up in life. It’s a time of transition where you begin to shape your future while stepping into new roles and responsibilities. But it can also feel lonely—like you’re navigating it all on your own.
I began my private practice in Gainesville, FL, a college town where I worked with many university students. Those early connections sparked my passion for supporting young adults. I remember my own journey vividly—making big decisions about what to study, who to date, and who I wanted to become. Each step wasn’t just about creating an outward path but also about establishing an inner relationship with myself.
During that time, I discovered the Enneagram, a system that transformed how I understood myself and my path forward. Since then, I’ve had the honor of working with young adults navigating similar questions: Who am I? What matters most to me? How do I move forward?
Therapy provides a nourishing space to explore your identity, soothe feelings of isolation, and create meaning as you move through this phase of becoming.

Midlife is a time of exploration and renewal—of your roles, relationships, and sense of purpose. It’s a pivotal threshold that stirs questions about identity, direction, and the life you’re creating.
For many men, midlife activates inner turmoil—such as feelings of depression, anxiety, or anger—arising from the fragmentation of your inner parts and archetypes. Exiled parts yearn to be seen and integrated, while protective parts resist change that could bring you into deeper alignment with your authenticity.
I’ve had the honor of working with many men in private practice and through my decade of service at the Veterans Administration. These experiences shaped my understanding of the unique pressures and inner challenges men face in this stage of life.
In our work together, we’ll explore the facets of self that are stirring within you—those inner parts, archetypes, and layers that influence your identity and sense of purpose. By reconnecting with your core values and embodying your self-energy—the calm, compassionate, and wise essence within—you’ll gain clarity and align more deeply with your authentic self.

Later life is a threshold rich with reflection and insight. It’s a time to honor your life’s journey, embrace the facets of self that have evolved over time, and explore what still feels unexpressed or unfinished.
During my decade at the Veterans Administration, I spent many years providing end-of-life care. This experience deeply informed my understanding of this unique stage of life and the wisdom, complexity, and vulnerability it brings.
I offer a deeply compassionate space to explore the aspects of yourself and life that matter most: How do I reflect on my life, embracing both its joys and its griefs? How do I connect with and embody my essence of self? What do I want to become in the final chapters of this life?
Together, we’ll can explore your essential sense of self—the calm, compassionate, and timeless essence within—and your connection to something meaningful beyond this lifetime. We’ll honor the fullness of your life and support you in integrating your experiences into a sense of peace and wholeness.
